Some free studio shots - Aug 2007

Some photo studio did some cold calling and invited us to go for a photo shoot. Of course there was some real "hard-selling' involved but we just stood our ground. We liked the photos but they gave it to us raw, not touched up so Kelv did his own touch ups and I'm really proud of his work! Wonderful isn't it? I love the one with Sam on the floor, roaring and holding a stuffed lion. :)

Tree Climbing part 2

Step 4: Climbing is hard work!

Step 5: Maybe the tree can help me.

Step 6: Think I'll just hang around and rest first.

Step 7: Success. I'm on the top of the world!

Tree Climbing - October 2008

Sam's latest conquest! I brought him for some tree climbing activity. He was kinda scared at first, didn't even want to have a go at it. But after some coaxing, he relented. The coach was very good with kids, talented young man . He handled Sam pretty well. Making friends, gaining his confidence and then instructing him on what to do etc. I was glad Sam felt comfortable enough to climb. It was pretty fun to watch and I really couldn't help but feel proud to be his mommy when he finally reached the top!

Step 1: Buckle up

Step 2: Tighten the harness

Step 3: Up, up and away!

Still at Kid's Kampung

Sam loves the fishes, he likes to feed the kois. As you can see, they are a greedy lot!

Brought Sam to Pasir Ris Kid's Kampung in September 08. He had so much fun chasing the little fishies around the pond for the whole hour! I was quite pooped too trying to keep up with him! He caught a grand total of 20 fish :) which unfortunately died one by one over the few days it came home with us... oh well! :)

Music lessons

Sam and I started taking violin lessons in December last year. We had so much fun learning the violin. But since I got pregnant and heavier by the day, I stopped going for lesson after my Grade 1 exam -which I passed with Merit (hooray!). Haven't been practising for 2 months now, pretty rusty... really got to get back to it.

Sam's progressing pretty well on his own, with some guidance from me. Here's us together with our instruments.

It's been a long time!

Didn't realise that it's been 2 year's since I've last blogged!!

Got good news for everyone, I'm pregnant again, our second kid.. a playmate for Sam finally! The pregnancy's been okay so far. But being old means that it's more tiring, the first trimester was pretty bad, I was tired every night and hit the sack almost the minute I reached home.

Second trimester was better, wasn't feeling too tired, had time to play with Sam.. poor thing was feeling very left out. I'm into the end of third trimester, and baby is due to make his appearance anytime these few weeks :).

Well I'll be posting some new pics of Sam so enjoy!
