I still haven't found the knack for it yet, I seem to have posted my pictures but in kinda of a weird order, anyway, if you are wondering the pictures posted today were all taken while we were in Genting Highland, Malaysia in July this year. We were there for about 3 days, it was cold, fun and cold hehe... Think Sam loved it best though coz he had lots of rides and both his mama and grand-aunty to spoil him rotten. Posted by Picasa

Here's the little one enjoying his cuppa. Posted by Picasa

Here we are at the cable car station at halfway to the bottom of the Genting Highlands. The pic looks like it's taken with a soft lens coz we were in the clouds, literally! Just seconds before we took this picture, a big cloud came in and froze everyone. It was cold. Posted by Picasa

Mom and dad's turn to relax. Posted by Picasa

Walking into the Theme Park in Genting was really wonderful! The flowers just seemed to double their bright colours and are twice as beautiful! Posted by Picasa

A less sophisticated carousel, the coin-operated arcade type. Posted by Picasa

Here's Sam on the carousel or simply known as the "merry-go-round" here tee hee...  Posted by Picasa

Just testing

I just changed the settings on my blog site to include the Mail-to-Blogger Address and wanted to know if it works. Well, here goes ...

Tired...

Have you ever wondered why life is so unfair, why although you work so very hard it's the person next to you that gets your promotion? Well, had these thoughts running in my head for the last few weeks and I'm feeling down, tired, frustrated and a whole other range of emotions now. My team mate has decided that she wanted to stake claim to my hard work and she actually did it too! Why didn't I expose her? I'm asking the same question myself but have no answer....
Life is such, maybe I'm stupid, a coward? Or maybe I'm just tired of working where I am. I don't know.

Here's Sam and mommy sharing a private moment. Posted by Hello

Sam was not feeling well on one of the days he was in HK, so the trip to the park tired him out easily. Here he's taking a short rest, all pooped out, poor fella. Posted by Hello

Taken outside Cheung Kong Centre on our way to the park, the flowers were so beautiful I couldn't resist asking Kelvin to take a shot of Sam here. Posted by Hello

This was taken at Victoria Peak when we were in Hong Kong last month. We were there for about 5 days visiting Kelv's sis. The trip was too short! It would have been fine if we didn't have Sam to hold us up... this was our first overseas trip with Sam and we found out the hard way that he's way too young to travel. Wanting to be carried all the way was way too much for me as the streets of HK was riddled with lots of steps and slopes everywhere we turned! Gosh, I think I may have actually lost some weight during my trip!

That's us on the beach outside our hotel in Penang. Sam really enjoys the sand and it was really hard getting him to quit playing and return to the hotel room that day. Posted by Hello

The view from below, the majestic Kek Lok Si Temple. If you can, try climbing right to the top of the highest tower, the view from there is wonderful! Posted by Hello

This taken at the Kek Lok Si Temple, the temple on the hill. This shot could have been better framed but the model was not very cooperative, he was ready to jump off the platform anytime so we just had to shoot whatever we had. Posted by Hello

This was taken in Penang, it's supposed to be one of the oldest temple there, don't remember the name though, pity. Posted by Hello

Found this while I was clearing my photos folder. Taken on Langkawi beach in September last year. This is what Grandmas do for love! Posted by Hello

I'm back!

I've been gone for quite awhile! Well, work's been pretty tough and I haven't been able to catch up on a LOT of things, blogging being one of them. I've decided to take it easy with the work since I noticed that what I put in is not being appreciated much anyway. The boss takes most of what we do for granted, even going that extra mile is 'part of our job'' to her.... pretty irritating.

That's enoug of boring people, now for more interesting stuff, well interesting to me anyway :) Sam's development is going fantastically well and now it's up to Kelv and me to keep up. He's talking in full sentences and asking so many 'deep' questions, not the kiddy 'why'! It's really wonderful to watch him grow and progress and what's more wonderful, knowing that in some way, we have contributed to this wonderful little person that is growing up so quickly and developing his own personality and character!

I like being a mom!
